At ORAW FITNESS Personal Training in Galway we know that every person we work with is an individual, which is why we tailor our training and nutrition plans to your specific body, your goals, and your exercise experience. We cover all aspects of training from the initial screening right through to the final stages of your body transformation, and we work closely with you to create effective nutrition programming throughout your journey. Our years of experience and our understanding of the human anatomy helps to form the structure of our training recommendations.

During the process of achieving your goals, you will be educated to understand the mechanics of your body, how to reach your potential through specific exercise, and how to effectively fuel your training with customised nutrition programming that you genuinely enjoy. REACH YOUR GOAL

Make some “you time”

At the end of each week take out your schedule and pen yourself in, whether it be a gym session, a walk/cycle, or just some time to prepare meals for the week. This will insure your week will have structure and you’ve made a plan with you as priority.


Stay active even on the weekend

The weekend can be a “lazy trap”. Make a plan at the start of the week to get out and about at the weekend this will help keep your body in a high metabolic state


Stay away from the scales

It’s only a number, If you get fixated on what the scales say you may increase your cortisol levels (stress hormone) and this could have a direct impact on your weight loss/gain goals. Keep stress to a minimum and enjoy your journey.


Change up your training

Being stuck on the same training plan for too long will slow your progress. The human body is amazing! Test yourself every year, month, week and day to keep your body and you interested. As Albert Einstein said: "The definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting the same result”.

Right here guys is a picture of what hard work and dedication looks like. This is one of my Nutrition Clients who came to me looking to drop weight for a power lifting competition. She was over the weight category by 4kg. And for those of you who know that's a fair amount of weight to cut while maintaining the power output. A well structured nutrition plan paired up with intelligent training is the perfect recipe for success. In the end a total weight loss of 9kg was recorded!!!
